About Me

Hi, my name is Bryson Baird. To give you a little background on me, since I was in middle school, I’ve been cutting my own hair. I started with shaping and lining up my afro, then I made a friend who was in barbering school, and became his “practice dummy.” Each time he would cut my hair he would teach me something that he had learned in school and I would watch his hands in a mirror while he cut.

When I went to boarding school, I gave myself haircuts regularly, and traded secrets with the only other guy in the dorm who cut hair. When I graduated, I had more experience cutting more hair than just my own by cutting my classmates' hair also.

In my freshman year at Southern, I was praying for a way to make money for living expenses, and God provided. I learned how to get involved in the shop, and was soon set up.

So far, I’ve learned so much about cutting hair and would love to serve as your barber. Before each appointment, I pray that God guides my hands, and that you would get up from the chair satisfied with your haircut.
